Ex-Gulf Mobile and Ohio #800A, MBTA #1101, Cape Cod Railroad (CCH) #1100

F-3A / FP-10A  Diesel Electric Locomotive built by EMD of GM, LaGrange, IL

Built in December 1946, Oldest F-3 in existance.

In 1979 the 800A was converted to an FP-10A With higher horsepower (1800 versus 1500). It operated on the Massachusetts Bay. The Transportation Authority sold it to the Northern Central Railway, but it never operated. Sold again to the Gold Coast Railroad in 2000. Painted in the Mustard Yellow and Dark brown of the Seaboard Air line. Numbered as the "next" Seaboard Air Line F-3, had they purchased another.
